About

Ever since I can remember I’ve had a passion for cinematography, video, storytelling and filmmaking. My obsession with being behind a camera started at age 8 when I really got into watching nature documentaries. Whenever I could I’d borrow mum’s cheap compact digital camera and wander around the neighborhood trying to take photos of birds.

Since then I’ve branched out into exploring the world of screen media and storytelling. In high school I took an interest in cinematography, greatly admiring the works of Stanley Kubrick. I developed a great interest in absurdist theatre and all kinds of niche cinema. For my HSC drama project I created a short film, ‘Sisyphus’, which also won me an award and a $500 Grant from the Bouddi Foundation For The Arts. I have also participated in a number of short courses relating to film at NIDA and AFTRS. I am currently studying film and screen media at Charles Sturt University.
